Silver Birch - Betula Pendula Moss White

This popular tree has stunning bright, lime-green foliage that turns to a pale yellow in Autumn. The trunk is a grey colour when young gradually turning to white - hence its name "Silver" birch. This is a moderate growing tree and is well suited to street plantings, parks and gardens or is commonly used as screening or lining in residential landscapes. 

Water: Silver birch is a water lover, and you need to guarantee it water in the drier months.

Sun: Likes sun to part shade and will tolerate short periods of wet and dry. If pruning make sure it is in summer or autumn.

Soil: Prefers a moist, well drained soil. Pruning in summer or autumn.
