Liriope Amethyst

Liriope Amethyst holds the best winter colour of any Liriope. It is a compact grower with beautiful deep purple flowers sitting high above the foliage, making it very attractive for mass plantings, feature plantings, along borders, paths and rockeries. Also a lovely specimen for pots, and it’s drought and frost tolerant. Recommended planting density of 6-10 plants per square metre, or 3-5 plants per linear metre. 40cm height and width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Drought tolerant once established. Use a chunky mulch, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Full sun, part shade, full shade.

Soil: Sandy, free draining soils making it well suited to the Perth environment. We recommend using Charlie Charcoal prior to planting for best results.
