Kangaroo Paw - Anigozanthos Bush Flare
Anigozanthos Bush Flare is an upright and relatively tough kangaroo paw. With burnt orange and vermilion red flowers for most of the year, it looks amazing when planted in decorative pots or mass planted for a real statement. Attractive to native birds and insects, this is a wonderful low maintenance kangaroo paw. Mass planted in native gardens and landscapes, as a potted specimen in small gardens and courtyards, or in cottage gardens. Pruning dead flowers and spent foliage encourages new growth and keeps the plant looking its best. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser in autumn and spring to keep in good health. Anigozanthos Bush Flare grows to 60cm height and 45cm width.
Water: Water well and often when freshly planted, and during flowering for best results. Drought tolerant once established.
Sun: Full sun to part shade.
Soil: Sandy-loam, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner, Charlie Charcoal and Sand Remedy prior to planting.
