Jasmin Polyanthum

The classic jasmine, Jasminum Polyanthum is a very vigorous evergreen climber that produces large clusters of extremely fragrant, white star-shaped flowers from dark pink buds in spring through summer. Foliage is dark green, pinnate and glossy. This climbing plant creates an amazing screen, amassing a huge amount of volume very quickly. It can provide excellent coverage for fences, pergolas, arches and walls, but has been known to lean timber fences in around 3-5 years. Prune annually to promote bushy new growth and help remove old dead growth, and to keep from growing into unwanted areas. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser. Jasminum Polyanthum reaches 4m height and 3m width with support.

Water: Water well and often during warmer months, as mandevilla like moisture. Add mulch to aid moisture retention, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Full sun to part shade.

Soil: Moist, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
