Grevillea Gilt Dragon
Gilt Dragon is a soft grevillea, low-growing with a pendant habit which makes it an attractive plant even when not in flower. Its foliage is grey-green, almost lacy and covered in fine hairs, complimenting the red flowers perfectly. Flowers appear in spring through summer, and often again in autumn. This excellent water-wise native is ideal for verge plantings, cascading over banks, rockeries or low boundary walls, mass planted or as a bedding shrub. Birds and bees are highly attracted to grevilleas for their profuse nectar production. Gilt Dragon also doesn’t mind a trim so a light prune to shape is well tolerated. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser. Grevillea Gilt Dragon grows to 1m height and width.
