The HIPPO Enhanced formulation came out of a three year research project with Charles Sturt University into how plants call for help. A plant under attack releases volatile compounds that draw in beneficial insects, and the formulation replicates that, bringing in ladybeetles, lacewings, hoverflies and parasitoids.
