Spider Plant Care 101
Spider plants are one of the easiest houseplants to grow, even for beginners.
This plant can grow in a wide range of conditions and suffers from few problems, other than brown tips. The spider plant is so named because of its spider-like plants, or spiderettes, which dangle down from the mother plant which can be propagated to produce more plants! What a win.
Light
Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light.
Water
Water every 1–2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Pets
This plant is pet friendly!
Fun Fact
The Spider Plant will self-propagate when happy and healthy. These little babies or 'plantlets' can be used to make new spider plants.
Sad Plant Signs
Crispy leaf tips, dry potting mix: Underwatered, low humidity
