Parlor Palm Care 101

Bringing the tropics indoors has never been easier than with the addition of a Parlor Palm. Where many types of palms don’t grow well indoors, Parlor Palms thrive and are considered low-maintenance and hardy houseplants. Below is a quick summary of their care.

Light

Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun.

Water

Water every 1–2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.

This plant can benefit from extra humidity.
